On the flotation of the Company in October 1994, 30 million ordinary shares were initially issued, valued at 215p, giving a market capitalisation of £64 million. Since then, there has been a 2 for 1 bonus issue of shares in June 1996, a 1 for 1 bonus issue in July 2001 and more recently a Firm Placing and Open Offer in October 2009.
All shares in issue are ordinary shares with a nominal value of 5p.
