Alan was appointed as a Non-executive Director on 3 August 2007. Alan was Chairman of KPMG in the North of England until his retirement in 2003 and is now Chairman of the North West legal firm, DWF. He is also Chairman of the Board of Governors of Manchester Metropolitan University.
