JJB Settle Which Consumer Action

PAYMENT AVAILABLE FROM JJB SPORTS PLC FOR INDIVIDUALS IN POSSESSION OF ELIGIBLE MANCHESTER UNITED HOME SHIRTS, ENGLAND HOME AND AWAY SHIRTS, AND MANCHESTER UNITED CENTENARY SHIRTS.

Payment Available from JJB Sports

Following on from the replica kit case and Which’s damages action.  JJB is pleased to offer any individuals who can meet the criteria set out below a payment of £10 or £5.

£10 payment

If you have one of the items above please bring this into any JJB store, complete the claim form and JJB’s Head Office will be pleased to provide you with a payment of £10.

  1. Manchester United home shirt (with the label still intact)

  2. A shop till receipt, a bank statement or a credit card statement proving purchase of a Manchester United home shirt during the period of 1 June 2000 to 30 September 2000;

  3. An England home or away shirt (with the label still intact);

  4. A shop till receipt, a bank statement or a credit card statement proving purchase of an England (home or away) shirt during the period 1 April 2000 and 30 June 2000;

  5. A Manchester United centenary shirt (with the label still intact);

  6. A Shop till receipt, a bank statement or a credit card statement proving purchase of a Manchester United centenary shirt during the period 1 June 2001 and 31 August 2001.

£5 payment

If you are in possession of any of the above shirts (without the label still intact) then please bring this into any JJB store, complete the claim form and JJB’s Head Office will be pleased to provide you a payment of £5.

  1. Manchester United home shirt;

  2. An England home or away shirt;

  3. Manchester United centenary shirt;

In order to obtain either of the £10 or £5 payment you will need to agree to the shirt, or your proof of purchase, being indelibly marked by JJB.  You will also need to provide your personal contact details and will be asked to sign a disclaimer that you will not bring any future legal action, or be part of any future legal action against JJB Sports in relation to these replica shirts.

Payment will be made by cheque from JJB’s Head Office.
